Mangos

I offer her praise

describing her attributes

calling her:

          Gorgeous

          Beautiful

          Pretty

I adorn her

with my words

as does the fine chain

about her neck

dangling a pendant

that draws my eyes

to her exquisite throat

She demurs my accolades,

rolling her eyes,

only grudgingly accepting

my gestures and words

Her mellifluous voice

encourages me

to demonstrate

my adoration

with

          a gentle kiss

          a tender touch

          a more passionate nibble

at her silken flesh

As my fingers caress

her desire becomes evident

A more sensual application

of lips to pale skin

leads to encouragement

yet

I proceed unhurriedly

savoring her treasures

imagining the pleasures

that await

Someday and soon
